The 2024–25 season will be the 126th season in the history of Bayern Munich and their 60th consecutive season in the topflight of German football. In addition to the domestic league, they are participating in this season's editions of the DFB-Pokal, the UEFA Champions League, and the FIFA Club World Cup.

Summary[edit]

Pre-season[edit]

On June 3, Bayern Munich announced the signing of Nestory Irankunda from Adelaide United. He will join the club in July 2024.[1]

After joining the club on loan from Tottenham Hotspur in January 2024, Eric Dier will make a permanent move to Bayern Munich due to a clause in his contract.[2]

Following a similar trajectory to Dier, Bryan Zaragoza signed for the club in February 2024, initially on loan from Granada.[3]

Both Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Bouna Sarr did not renew their contracts with the club for the 2024–25 season, opting to become free agents.[4]

Bayern Munich signed forwards Maurice Krattenmacher (aged 18) and Gibson Nana Adu (aged 16) from 3. Liga club SpVgg Unterhaching, Nana Adu will remain on loan with SpVgg Unterhaching for the 2024–25 season.

Bayern will met Regionalliga side 1. FC Düren for a friendly match in their neighbouring town of Jülich.[13] On 3rd and 10th August 2024, Bayern Munich are set to face Tottenham Hotspur twice in friendly matches.[14][15]
