Federico Cinà (born 30 March 2007) is an Italian tennis player. He has a career high doubles ranking of No. 863, achieved on 12 June 2023.[1][2]

Early and personal life[edit]

From Palermo, he is coached by his father Francesco Cinà, the former coach of Italian tennis player Roberta Vinci.[3] His mother is called Susanna. He is a member of CT Vela Messina and trains at the Cinà Tennis Institute.[4]

Junior career[edit]

He reached the final of the Petit As tournament in 2021, where he lost to Czech player Maxim Mrva.[5][6]

In 2022, alongside Lorenzo Angelini and Lorenzo Carboni he reached the final of the European under-16 team championship.[7]

Cina reached the semifinals in the boys’ singles at the 2023 US Open.[8]

He reached the final of the Boy's doubles at the 2024 French Open playing alongside Rei Sakamoto where they faced Nicolai Budkov Kjaer and Joel Schwaerzler.[9]

Professional career[edit]

He won his first ATP point at the age of fifteen, competing in Italy, when he defeated Raffael Schaer at the 2022 M15 Aprilia.[10]
