The 2nd generation Corvette, the C2, was built from 1963-67, a new name was introduced, the Sting Ray, and not only available as a roadster like the 1st generation but a coupe as well. They featured a tapering rear deck and hideaway headlights.
Unique to 1963 was a split rear window and decorative hood vents.
For 64, a full width rear window and the hood vents were gone.
1965 saw 4 wheel disc brakes and 396 big block option (base was 327), it got 3 vertical fender vents replacing the 2 horizontal ones.
For 66 even larger 427 cu in option, an eggcrate grille was new replacing the horizontal bars.
1967 got restyled taillights and now 5 vertical fender vents.
