An abandoned Nuba village in the Nuba Mountains — southern Sudan.. Original description: "Toby took me on a hike one day to see some of the abandoned villages from the civil war. People in Nuba would move up into the mountains because it was easier to hide from the militias there. Toby's dear friend Morris lived in a village like this for 8 years, with little food, water, and clothing. It was pretty surreal to see it for myself." |
