Português: Retângulos vermelhos: A solidez e a estabilidade geralmente associadas aos retângulos, juntamente com a força e a determinação, indicativos da cor vermelha, representam o POVO da nossa terra.

Retângulos verdes: A solidez e a estabilidade características dos retângulos, associadas à esperança, liberdade, crescimento e renovação, características geralmente relacionadas à cor verde, representam as nossas RIQUEZAS NATURAIS.

Círculo azul: A eternidade, divindade e união, são características do círculo, somadas às características da cor azul que são: tranquilidade, serenidade e harmonia, associadas à cor azul representam o CÉU que envolve nosso município.

Cruz branca: A paz e a tranquilidade expressa pela cor branca, associadas às características da cruz: fé, bondade e união, representam a ESPIRITUALIDADE do povo do lugar.

As cinco estrelas: As estrelas que radiam o campo azul representam as quatro FAMÍLIAS pioneiras: Brandão, Gomes, Lucindo e Pereira, assim como a quinta estrela representa as outras famílias que chegaram depois e juntas constituíram a população do lugar.
