Cnaeus Octavius Titinius Capitio, prefect of the cohort, military tribune, awarded the spear without iron and the camp crown, procurator of correspondence and of the imperial inheritance, again [procurator] of correspondence of the deified Nerva, by whose authority [he was awarded] with the ornamenta of a praetor, [procurator] of correspondence, for a third time, of Imperator Nerva Caesar Traianus Augustus Germanicus, prefect of the watchmen, gave this gift to Vulcan.
In Inscriptiones Latinae Selectae, Dessau notes, in reference to the first time Capito was procurator ab epistulis, that Domitian's name has been deliberately omitted from the list.
