Mardi Gras celebration in New Orleans, Tuesday, March 6, 1867. - Procession of the "Mistick Krewe of Comus". Epicurean floats and figures on St. Charles Avenue.

Buildings visible in the background include the St. Charles Theatre, Bidwell's Academy of Music, Strong's Saloon, Murphy's Hotel & Restaurant, and the Olympic Music Hall.
