Photograph of Figueroa Street with zanja (irrigation channel) parallel to sidewalk, ca.1906. Two pedestrians are visible on the sidewalk in the distance. Adjacent grassy yards are neatly groomed and have palms growing in them. A line of deciduous trees grows in the grassy median between the sidewalk and the street. Parallel to the sidewalk to its immediate right, a small irrigation channel is visible. The channel is bordered by a very low stone wall.
