English: Sergeant-Major George Evans VC (1876 – 1937) of the Manchester Regiment was a recipient of the Victoria Cross for his action of 30 July 1916 during the Battle of the Somme. This is a photograph of his grave at Beckenham Cemetery, Bromley, UK.
