Summary

Description
English: Bats that die while hanging to a ceiling will actually continue to hang, as the relaxed position of their toes is curled and supports them. This helps greatly in conserving energy in life, but creates a grim scene in death as their body decomposes while remaining suspended! This Harvestman (type of arachnid but not a spider) is taking advantage of a rare cave feast. The tissues of the face are softer than the rest of the bat, which is where the arachnid has decided to start. Kiss of death, perhaps?
