Other information

I am publishing a new biographical Wikipedia article on the subject in the picture, John T. Melick, Jr. He is a fairly well-kown (in his genre) pianist and bandleader. He is one of two remaining Big Band leaders left alive. The other, Ray Anthony, is inactive. This picture is a cropped version of a photo that was taken of him and his first big band in 1957 by un unknown member of the hotel's publicity department. It has been in his scrapbook for almost 60 years. He provided it for use here.
