Other information
I am publishing a new biographical Wiki article on the subject in the picture, John T. Melick, Jr. He is a fairly well-known (in his genre) pianist and bandleader. He is one of two remaining Big Band leaders left alive. The other, Ray Anthony, is inactive. This picture is a cropped version of a photo that was taken of him in 1953 by an unknown friend. It has been in his scrapbook for almost 60 years. He provided it for use here.
