| Description | A string of empty ore hopper cars leave the ore dock.above the Lake Superior and Ishpeming Railroad static train display. Part of the LS&I operation in Marquette, Michigan, at the Presque Isle ore dock. The dock is owned by Cliffs Natural Resources, a successor to or subsidiary of the Cleveland Cliffs Mining Company, which has mines in the area. Taconite pellets (unrefined iron with a binding element) are loaded into ships here. |
