Summary

Description
English: Sketch of the OPTOS simulation procedure. Light that is incident from above onto a sheet with structured front and rear interface is redistributed during the interaction with these interfaces and propagates through the sheet. The power distribution vectors vi contain one entry for each angle channel with the fraction of the total incident power as value. Optical properties of the sheet are calculated in OPTOS via multiplications of the redistribution matrices R and T, the propagation matrix D and the incident light distribution v0.
