Stryker vehicles from the 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 28th Infantry Division, Pennsylvania Army National Guard arrive in Vilnius, Lithuania June 8 to participate in Saber Strike 2015. C-17s from the New York and West Virginia Air National Guard transported the vehicles and Soldiers from their home station. Saber Strike is a long-standing U.S. Army Europe-led cooperative training exercise. This year’s exercise objectives facilitate cooperation amongst the U.S., Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland to improve joint operational capability in a range of missions as well as preparing the participating nations and units to support multinational contingency operations.
