English: Tamar giving birth to Pharez & Sarah. Midwife (old woman) delivers Sarah while twin brother is washed. Centre front: basket of swaddling bands is ready to wind round infants. Tamar is sitting on a birthing stool. Copperplate engraving by Hermann Muller after Marten van Heemskerk (1498-1574).

Фамарь рожает Фареса и Зераха, зачатых ею после смерти двух её мужей с помощью хитрости от ее свёкра, сына ветхозаветного патриарха Иакова Иуды, основателя одного из двенадцати колен израилевых. Акушерка (старуха) принимает Зераха, пока моют его брата-близнеца. В центре спереди: корзина с пеленками готова чтобы пеленать младенцев. Фамарь сидит на родильном стуле. Гравюра на меди Германа Мюллера по мотивам Мартена ван Хемскерка (1498-1574).
