Description
Maria hat das Jesuskind vor ihr auf dem Schoss stehen, vor ihr stehen der Johannesknabe und Joseph. Über ihr ist der der Heilige Geist in Gestalt einer Taube abgebildet. Auf der linken Seite ist eine Wiege und auf der rechten ein türkischer Teppich. Es ist in diesem Bilde viel Wahrheit und Fleiß in der Zeichnung; aber im Colorit fehlt das Einnehmende und Schmeichelnde, welches Rubens sonst in seiner Gewalt hatte.
