Deutsch: Das Deutschmeister-Denkmal im Zentrum des Deutschmeisterplatzes im 1. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Innere Stadt und dahinter die Rossauer Kaserne. Das Denkmal wurde anlässlich des 200-Jahre-Bestandsjubiläums des k.u.k. Infanterieregiment „Hoch- und Deutschmeister“ Nr. 4 1896 gestiftet und am 29. September 1906 feierliche enthüllt. Der architektonische Entwurf stammt von dem Architekten August Weber und die Bronzeplastiken von dem Bildhauer Johannes Benk. |
