This map is indeed inaccurate. There is no such nonsense as Kvens or Karelia as any state during that time or any other time during history. Read the linquistic history of the Kven dialect. It is just a branch of Finish and that area should be marked as grey along with Sami area as well. This map is suppose to depict kingdoms that existed at this time and there were no Sami, Kven or Karelian kingdoms.
