Contested deletion[edit]

This file should not be speedy deleted as an obviously non-free file but which is not claimed by the uploader to be fair use, because the photographer (Dave Hingerty) gave Alfredo Ortiz explicit permission to use the photo (posted on the photographer's website at: http://www.irishdrumacademy.ie/online_lessons.html, and posted on Alfredo Ortiz's Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=74785894466&set=a.460207039466.268674.741909466&type=3). --Rosemccbe (talk) 20:08, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Irish website doesn't provide any information about the copyright status. The link to Facebook is dead and only contains an error message in Japanese:

このコンテンツは現在ご覧いただけません。お探しのページは、メンテナンス等の理由で一時的に利用できなくなっているか、リンクの期限が切れているか、閲覧する権限がないため、表示できません。

The link to Facebook is not dead, nor does it contain an error message. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=74785894466&set=a.460207039466.268674.741909466&type=3

That URL is indeed not working. --Stefan2 (talk) 20:57, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The photographer/copyright owner has been contacted and Wikipedia should expect to receive a Declaration of Consent.

The photo is also posted on Alfredo Ortiz's website at http://bongoloidz.com/about/.

OK. I've replaced the copyright violation template with an "OTRS pending" template, meaning that something has been sent to Wikipedia and that we are waiting for someone to read and handle the message. --Stefan2 (talk) 21:19, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Declaration of Consent has been forwarded to permissions-en@wikimedia.org and is awaiting attention. Rosemccbe (talk) 21:16, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
