If publication ceased in 1944, what is the origin of this cover, dated 1962? Drutt 08:34, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I checked the Harvard library records, and here is what they say:
Published : 1. Jahrg., Nr. 1 (4. Apr. 1896)-49. Jahrg., Nr. 37 (13. Sept. 1944);
            Oct. 1954-3. June 1967.
Published : München : [A. Langen], 1896-1967.
 Frequency notes : 	Weekly 1896-1963
 Frequency notes : 	Biweekly 1964-1967
   Suspended Sept. 1944?-Sept. 1954.
   Jahrg. 3, Nr. 31-32 suppressed.
So it seems that publication did cease in 1944, but started again in 1954. I'll correct the article. Thanks for noticing this. --Macrakis 16:13, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What Does Hitler Look Like?[edit]

This was published in the photo section of Becoming Hitler: The Making of a Nazi by Thomas Weber, who credits Simplicissimus. I don't want to put the image up myself unless and until I'm certain that it meets Wikipedia's licensing criteria, savvy? In any case, Simplicissimus is a gold mine...! kencf0618 (talk) 22:00, 7 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
