The 2024 Women's U-19 World Floorball Championships will be the 11th edition of the championship. The tournament will be played in Lahti, Finland, and was to take place from 1–5 May, but the event dates changed to 8–12 May after a booking problem with the venue delayed the event by a week.[1][2][3] Sweden are the reigning champions.

Sweden won the tournament, beating Finland 4–2 in the final.[4]

Bidding process[edit]

Finland were the only bidders. The Finns were given the hosting rights on 23 February 2021.[5][6][1]

Qualified teams[edit]

Eighteen teams entered the tournament but United States withdrew, bringing the number down to seventeen.[7] A qualifier in Besançon, France was organised between Denmark, France, Hungary and Italy to decide the final three spots.[8]

Tickets[edit]

Ticket sales started on 19 October 2023, but tickets have sold slowly.[17] On 24 April 2024, previously sold tournament passes were put back on sale. But on 30 April, 200 tournament passes for the tournament were sold and a new batch of day passes were released.[18] So far, the ticket revenue has total to around 38,000 Euros.[19]
