Those aren't necessarily omissions: have you checked whether these articles aren't already correctly classified in more specific subcategories of this one? For instance, Christiaan Huygens is in Category:17th-century astronomers, which is a direct subcategory of this one. I assume it will be similar with the others. In such cases, as a rule, we don't duplicate the more specific categorization with the redundant more general one. Fut.Perf.☼ 17:23, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
