This category was nominated for deletion, renaming, or merging with another category on 2011 August 30. The result of the discussion was no consensus.

Category Flora of Polynesia[edit]

I intend to propose that we rename this category to "Flora of Polynesian subkingdom" or somesuch because I think people will confuse it with the geographic-cultural entity Polynesia, which includes New Zealand and other island groups not in the Polynesian subkingdom. Same goes for Flora of Melanesia and Flora of Micronesia too, which may or may not coincide with their respective geographic-cultural areas. Kahuroa (talk) 22:01, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
