I'm afraid there is a misquotation. Lavictoire was fighting at Berderiz/Berdaritz with the troups you mention and he was killed there that very day. The Spanish troups fighting at Izpegi were "Cazadores de Galicia" and "Granaderos de Castilla". Among their casualties, there were 2 dead, 20 wounded and 70 prisoners.
