Dan J. McDougall is a Canadian actor known for Brokeback Mountain and High Strung.
Career[edit]
Dan McDougall began his acting career in 2003 when he landed a role in Brokeback Mountain alongside a cast that included Heath Ledger, Jake Gyllenhaal, Anne Hathaway, and Kate Mara.[1] In 2017 he produced his own webseries called High Strung, which has been selected at the Reale Film Festival in 2024 where it won Best Webseries[2] and won at the Independent Shorts Awards.[3] Dan won an Award of Recognition for the webseries High Strung at the Indiefest Film Awards.[4]
He wrote the song One More Trip in the Bike and directed the music video associated with the song.[5] Dan directed the film Two Kinds of Water.[6] Dan won an Award of Recognition for the music video at the Accolade Global Film Competition in 2023.[7]
