Comment: I am not sure WP:NBOXING applies here, but the cited source does not verify that "As of March 2023 he is ranked as the #7 super middle weight in the world."I see no mention of Abasolo in the cited link. Can you provide a more specific link so that I can verify this? Besides, I am not seeing much in-depth coverage in the sources. Eddie Abasolo is an American born Muay Thai fighter competing for the One Championship promotion. An accomplished fighter, Eddie held the WBC Muay Thai National Title as well as the Triumphant World title before vacating them to sign with One Championship. Known for a deceptively smooth and technical style he has garnered the fight name "Silk-E Smooth".[2] As of October 2023 he is ranked as the #9 super middle weight in the world by WBC Muay Thai.[3]

Early Life[edit]
Eddie was born in Vallejo, California. As a child, Eddie participated in a multitude of sports including baseball, track and field, wrestling and football. He had his first experience in martial arts when he achieved his black belt in Kajukenbo.[4] After graduating High school in 2004 he began focusing his attention to Muay Thai. He has trained at multiple gyms throughout his career including CSA where he studied under Kevin Ross.
Career[edit]
After 3 years as an amateur fighter, Eddie moved on to a professional career. He successfully captured both the Triumphant Muay Thai World Title and the WBC Muay Thai National Title. [5] Eddie was signed to One Championship and debuted in November 2022 against Liam Nolan.
Eddie also co-owns The Resistance Fitness Center in Pleasanton, California. [6]
