Piers Hemmingsen (born August 2, 1955) is a British born Canadian author, researcher and music historian residing in Toronto. He has written extensively on the history of The Beatles in Canada[1], the business activities of Capitol Records of Canada [2], the RCA Victor Records pressing plant at Smiths Falls, Ontario[3] and the Compo Records pressing plant at Cornwall, Ontario[4].
