Tejraj Aminabhavi

Biography[edit]

Professor. Aminabhavi born on 17 January 1947. He is presently the Director of Research at School of Advanced Sciences, KLE Technological University, Hubli. Professor Aminabhavi completed his BSc and MSc degrees in Chemistry from Karnatak University, Dharwad and received his PhD degree in polymer science from the University of Texas, Austin, Texas USA. Professor Aminabhavi has published over 980 scientific papers in highly reputed journals with citations more than 62,000 and Google Scholar h-index of 123 and i10 index is 711[1]. Professor Aminabhavi is actively collaborating with several national and international organizations. He is the Honorary Professor at Maquery University[2], Sydney, Australia, and Korea University, Seoul, Korea[3]. His research activities are in areas of polymer science and technology, membranes, waste-to-energy, materials for energy and environment, wastewater treatment, and drug delivery. Currently, Professor Aminabhavi is the executive editor of Chemical Engineering Journal[4] (Elsevier). He is the founder editor-in-chief of Materials Science for Energy Technologies[5] and Sensors International (KeAi)[6]. Professor Aminabhavi has been visiting professor to universities in the US, Europe, China, Korea and UK.
