| Description |
Translucent green, glass round-bottomed vase with heavy rainbow iridescence throughout. Base of the vase is round and then attaches to a vertical tube in the center, top of the tube has an ornamental curved design that serves as a lip. The iridescence is caused by weathering, a process of deterioration that can occur when glass is buried underground. The extent and rate of deterioration is determined by the condition of the ground and the composition of the glass. |
