Khakhian (Persian: خاخيان, also Romanized as Khākhīān)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Takab Rural District of the Central District of Dargaz County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 266 in 66 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 321 people in 85 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 240 people in 72 households.[2]
