SM Al Mamun is a Bangladeshi politician and the incumbent Member of Parliament from Chittagong-4 the Sitakunda constituency.[1]

Personal life[edit]

He is the son of former Member of Parliament ABM Abul Kashem from the same constituency.

Political career[edit]

In his political career, he was elected as Sitakunda Upazila Chairman in 2019 upazila elections and served for 5 years. In the 2024 Bangladeshi general elections, he was elected as a member of parliament after receiving the nomination of Awami League for the first time. He is currently serving as a Member of Parliament as well as a Member of the Parliamentary Committee of the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
