Heading lengths[edit]

Some of the headings in this article are extremely long. For example, Participation in the Nationalist movement to regain Independence from France - the end of the Patenotre Treaty of June 6th 1884 – the reunification with Cochinchina and Rejection of communism is 191 characters long. Can we trim these to, say, at most 50 characters? Otherwise, it makes for a really cluttered and baffling read.

As an example, it seems needless to include the name of the article in a heading. so Đinh xuân Quảng and the struggle for a peaceful solution to Independence from France could be shortened to something like "Struggle for a peaceful solution to Independence", from 84 to 48 characters. --dragfyre_ʞןɐʇc 15:15, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
