why[edit]

i'm not expert but this doesn't look like an rs Hamaredha (talk) 21:37, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Because it wasn't a reliable source. Obviously. PRAXIDICAE🌈 21:40, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

That also isn't a reliable source. PRAXIDICAE🌈 21:46, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

    Exactly 0 of these are reliable. PRAXIDICAE🌈 21:53, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
There is not much known about the man, but I can assure you he was and probably still is one of the most revered Dengbej singers. Most Denbej singers have one of his songs in their repertoire. Paradise Chronicle (talk) 21:54, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
He very well may be notable, I didn't contest that, but none of these sources are reliable as they're basically vanity blogs run by random people who've taken the information from other wikis and aren't a reliable source. I'd expect books would probably be a better method of research and sourcing given the age. PRAXIDICAE🌈 21:56, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
See this source ( National Kurdish Tv channel in Iraq )
Ok, I have hesitated to create an article on him because there is written so little about him in the source I used for the Dengbej article. But I'll add to the stub, what I find there.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 22:05, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you Hamaredha (talk) 22:19, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, that's it what I had in mind. And you probably understand why I didn't want to write an article on him before, there is so little to find in a rather good source. I could search for another phrase in the book, but I do not really know how to word it. But it is a RS, a book about the Dengbej culture and in it, Sakiro is mentioned as one of its very famous singers or also as THE singer. To give you something to compare, he might be for Dengbej what Erico Caruso is for the Opera or Louis Armstrong for Jazz, just that the Dengbej is still getting discovered.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 18:02, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
