was Jordan still Transjordanian in 1947?[edit]

The title says 1947 Transjordanian general election but it seems to have happened AFTER Transjordan became just Jordan. MWQs (talk) 16:44, 5 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

According to the history section of the Jordan article (which is cited to two references), the official English name was still Transjordan until 1949. Number 5 7 21:09, 5 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
