Archive for Citation Not Working[edit]

(I'm new to Talk pages and Wikipedia editing in general so if I'm going about this wrong please just let me know.)

The following citation's archive is not working: Brannigan, Martha (15 January 2010). "Haiti seaport damage complicates relief efforts". The Miami Herald. Archived from the original on 23 September 2012. Retrieved 15 January 2010.

(It's currently citation number 57.)

This means I cannot validate the information nor show that it's a reliable source.

2021 Earthquake[edit]

Though this will merit its own separate article, an earthquake of similar or slightly higher intensity just struck Haiti this morning. Should we also reference it here, as it struck near where this one did? 1Rye998 (talk) 13:46, 14 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Add Italian assistance to Haiti[edit]

In 2010, after the earthquake, the Italian government activated a humanitarian aid mission. In 4 days the Italian aircraft carrier Nave Cavour was deployed and sent to Haiti. The aircraft carrier reached Haiti in 10 days. The 882 Italian soldiers and doctors carried out over 300 medical services, trasported 150 people through 6 Italian helicopters and distributed 12 t of foodstuffs, 176 t of medicines and 36 t of potable water. The mission lasted 86 days.
