Infobox[edit]

So I designed this infobox around trying to copy the 2014 Toronto FC season; however, I was wondering if this might be the best way to present the spring and fall CPL seasons. Other teams that have split seasons often break them into two separate lines. Was looking for someone else's thoughts on this. Lucky mac11 (talk) 17:54, 9 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for adding it! I'm also not entirely sure what the best way to display it is. I think breaking into separate lines makes a bit more sense because it treats them as two distinct tournaments (which they are), as opposed to the case of TFC where the conference and overall rankings are just different measures/rankings for the same competition. It also is a bit better aesthetically (in my opinion) as it looks more uniform. That being said, I too would like to see if anyone else has an opinion on the matter. So I did a bit more digging, and looked at FC Edmonton's 2017 season which also displays them in the same way as they currently are. This is one example, but I do want to do what the community thinks is best. Personally, I am leaning towards the idea of having two separate lines. I've changed it back to what you initially had, like the 2017 FC Edmonton example. This allows the spring, fall, and overall result to all be shown, which they can't if they're on separate lines. I think this information is relevant because it may be used for CPL Championship qualification. If anyone has any other thoughts, please chime in here. UmpireRay (talk) 00:43, 5 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
