Standardization[edit]
Ward listings[edit]
I would like to standardize the way we list wards here so that, when councillors and trustees are referenced and wards are listed, there aren't a million different formats. The following formats come from the ward descriptions on the City of Hamilton website and from an intuitive understanding of the city. Here are the formats I propose:
Council[edit]
- Ward 1 - Chedoke-Cootes
- Ward 2 - Downtown
- Ward 3 - Hamilton Centre
- Ward 4 - Hamilton East
- Ward 5 - Red Hill
- Ward 6 - East Mountain
- Ward 7 - Central Mountain
- Ward 8 - West/Central Mountain
- Ward 9 - Upper Stoney Creek
- Ward 10 - Lower Stoney Creek
- Ward 11 - Glanbrook
- Ward 12 - Ancaster
- Ward 13 - Dundas
- Ward 14 - West Mountain
- Ward 15 - Flamborough
Public School Board[edit]
- Wards 1 and 2 - West Hamilton
- Ward 3 - Hamilton Centre
