Unsourced claims[edit]

I removed the following:

Most of the lower floors contain the Bergtraum High School for Business Careers of the New York City Department of Education. Some of the lower floors, and all of the middle and upper floors, house various adminsitrative functions including Switching Control Center Systems. A small DMS-100 exchange serves the administrative offices, but the buliding is not a wire center or telephone exchange serving public customers.

The Bergtraum website and the wiki article make no mention of this building. The high school (which is a modern brown structure) adjoins the white 375 building. The switching comment specifically came from the NY Times article. Americasroof (talk) 02:32, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's open[edit]

This was just on Slashdot:

"Yesterday, Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced the opening a 1 million square foot high-rise data center the an old Verizon switching building at 375 Pearl Street. Sabey Data Center Properties, the owner of the property, has named the data center Intergate.Manhattan"

69.202.217.131 - Please Discuss Your Addition Here[edit]

I don't think the addition of "Most recently, a prestigious Manhattan real estate management firm, Matthew Adam Properties, Inc., committed to a substantial upgrade by leasing a portion of the 14th floor beginning in January, 2018 in an effort to better serve their clients." is appropriate because it has peacock terms and doesn't really relate to the building. -- Dolotta (talk) 03:23, 26 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Pearl Street CS2K Switch[edit]

in the early 2000's verizon operated a nortel communications server 2000 class 5 switch, the Pearl Street CS2K switch CLLI (NYCMNYPSPS0) that was the recipient of traffic from other decommissioned DMS-100 switches in the city. The evidence from this comes directly from an announcement provided by verizon to its wholesale customers who needed the information to change routing etc. [1] An appropriate addition can be under the 2000s section discussing this.
