Edit request[edit]

I'd like to update the information regarding the wikipedia article about myself. This updated version was uploaded at 12:09 on 10/30, but pulled from the site soon after. Basically, the changes I made simplified the article about myself and included links to various art I've published (films, music etc) and connected the article to other articles in wikipedia.

Namesakes...[edit]

The article currently says Al Sutton, human rights advocate, owns the Island in Long Island Sound. But the press reports say the Island owner is a doctor.

I suspect there are multiple namesakes. Geo Swan (talk) 01:13, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

neutral point of view/promotion[edit]

This article appears to be self promotion. Most of the content is written either by the subject (a user with the name AlSutton1) or an IP user.

The only sources seem to be IMDb and the one nyt article about his house. Given that it's self promotional material that's poorly sourced and doesn't add much beyond the IMDb page, I wonder if this is a good candidate for deletion. TChapProctor (talk) 02:46, 9 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Small steps please[edit]

This article has been the subject of much edit warring that is getting us nowhere. I have reduced the article to the minimum that is confirmed by his obituary. Anybody adding more details needs to do so in small steps with each extra detail being referenced to another suitable sourceGhostInTheMachine talk to me 18:19, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
