Replace "gaming" with "gambling"?[edit]

WP:PCR MOS:JARGON

The repeated use of the word "gaming" in this article to refer to gambling is confusing, and I think it should be replaced with just "gambling". It sounds like a weird euphemism, and also like it's talking about the video gaming industry. BalaM314 (π) (talk) 17:02, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Gaming is used to describe participating in legal, state sanctioned wagering. This term has been around long before video games were ever a thing and it continues to be referred to as the ‘gaming industry’. KeysNC (talk) 02:55, 11 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
