Date of birth[edit]

Both Apolinary and Anton de Kontski had their dates of birth falsified by their father, who apparently wanted to make them appear younger and therefore even more gifted. The most often quoted date of birth of Apolinary de Kontski was 23 October 1825. The Polish Wikipedia shows the right date.
