Socialists of the chair[edit]

"In German, the Sozialpolitiker (Social Policy-ers) of the historical school of economics were derisively referred to as Kathedersozialisten (Socialists of the Chair), a comparable construction."

I thnk it is a very different concept - the "chair" here refers to the influence in the academia ("Katheder" means more "tenure" than "chair"), not in the sense of "don't doing nothing", like in armchair revolutionary, laptop bombardiers and similar expressions--MiguelMadeira (talk) 16:22, 7 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
