Name and pronunciation[edit]

I have often seen the name spelled Boïto, and I take the diaresis to mean that the "i" is pronounced as a separate vowel rather than as part of a diphthong, without being accented: therefore the pronunciation would be something like BO-it-oh. Unfortunately, I've never been able to find anything authoritative on this; but I'll suggest it here for further research. Skookumpete (talk) 23:45, 19 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
