I thought there were 7 not 6 lakes visible from Ladakalnis hill. Could someone doublecheck this ? --Lysytalk 08:47, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Good luck trying to figure that out:
Nuo kalno atsiveria nuostabus vaizdas, matosi net 6 ežerai: Ūkojas, Linkmenas, Almajas, Asėkas, Asalnų, Lūšių ir Alksnas. [1]
From the top of this hill you can see six lakes (Alksnas, Alksnaitis, Asėkas, Linkmenas, Pakasas and Ūkojas). [2]
Ladakalnis, o iš abiejų pusių yra dvi gilios rinos su ežerais: Pakasas-Ūkojas, Alksnas-Lūšiai ir Almajas-Linkmenas-Asalnai. [3]
As far as I understand the main problem is that all these lakes are connected and there is space for interpretation "what is a lake?" Renata 15:36, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I have a panorama movie shot from the top, but I'm not sure what I can see there ... --Lysytalk 18:12, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've checked the movie, and it seems more like 6 lakes ;-)
On the other hand some tourist agencies, e.g. [4], mention "Ladakalnis with its breathtaking panorama of 7 lakes". You are right that this is not that clear (and probably not that important as well), as some others claim 6 lakes. --Lysytalk 18:48, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
