The source of jack terry[edit]

@R Prazeres thanks for your feedback on my bad writing but i wanna to talk about the jack terry book aka history of the libyan desert during the medieval period. The writer jack terry used sources from same period time and seem to make those points such as The banu khattab were same hawwaras who attacked syrte in 900 There was an attempt by hashim ibn walid to rebel against fatimid around 1002 where he would come to conflict with the fezzanese authorities of Banu Khattab. And he claim that they were able to resist the banu sulaym and hilal. Although this may be a bit of a stretch but this are all claims made by jack terry himself that may have possibly been true Jake106meme (talk) 10:18, 18 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The way you describe this makes it sound like you're not sure what the author is stating certainly and you have previously added WP:OR in this article and elsewhere. I also can barely find any record of the book you're referring to, and it doesn't seem "Jack Terry" is a professional historian, so that makes me doubt it's a reliable source. At the very least, you would need to provide the full quotes of the relevant passages here first, so I can see what the author actually says. R Prazeres (talk) 22:05, 18 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
