Portrait permissions[edit]

Here's the text of the email I sent requesting permission from Talk Radio Network to use Barry's portrait in this article:

I found your page http://www.talkradionetwork.com/pg/jsp/general/host.jsp?chartID=3&position=5 while doing research for the free online encyclopedia Wikipedia, and thought your image of Barry Farber might be appropriate for inclusion in our article concerning him.

I am a big fan of Barry's, and recently tried to find more information about him or his books on the internet. The first Google result was the personal website of one Barry J. Farber, a motivational speaker, TV and radio show host, and author. I wasted quite a little time reading his website before I realized it could not possibly be the same person. The wikipedia article I mentioned above is the second Google result. As you probably know, a typical Google user tries several links from the first results page. I think it would be helpful to Talk Radio Network's promotion of Barry Farber if the wikipedia article contained some more immediately obvious differentiation between the two men. I think the best way to do this would be to use an image of Barry's face on the wikipedia article. See the wikipedia article on another host of yours, Laura Ingraham, for an example of how this might look: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laura_Ingraham.
An alternate way to differentiate would be to write an article about Barry J. Farber, which I have done, and include a note at the beginning redirecting readers there from the original Barry Farber article, and vice versa, which I have also done. However, I feel this does not serve your purpose well, since it redirects readers to a competing personality, even if he is not as well-known. I could leave the note out of the Barry Farber article entirely, but that would allow the possibility that readers would visit both the Barry Farber wikipedia article and Barry J. Farber's personal website and not realize they are two different people. In fact, because he is not very notable, the Barry J. Farber article is likely to be deleted soon, which would also allow for the situation just described. It would be much better if a reader did visit both websites and the difference was obvious from the pictures of the two men. Finally, a third way to differentiate would be to include both men, with a little extra detail, on a disambiguation page, which I have also done: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farber.

What happened to all mention of first two wives?[edit]

Why have Barry Farber's two earlier wives been deleted from his personal life? Especially the first one who was mother to his two daughters?
