What Raptor Did I see?[edit]

I saw some kind of raptors taking mexican free-tailed bats at dusk, as the bats left their quarters under a bridge, in central California, in the Central Valley, just east of the delta area. It was getting dark so I didn't get a good look at them. Apparently they knew what they were doing. They showed up to wait, just a few minutes before the bats emerged.

What were they, most likely? Not likely bat falcons, if I understand this article correctly.
