Combine with battles for Hirske and Zolote[edit]

As much as I dislike calling battles not notable, the Battle of Toshkivka as it stands isn't really notable. Most sources including the Jerusalem Post, the Guardian, and Ukrainian media all reported collectively on the battles in Toshkivka, Hirske, and Zolote (linked some below), and adding the battles of Hirske and Zolote would give the article more substance without deviating too far as the three villages were all heavily destroyed in the end. To add, the three battles all ended and began at similar times, and ended with a hasty Ukrainian withdrawal to avoid encirclement, giving the battles some notability.

For a proposed title, it would be Battles of Hirske, Zolote, and Toshkivka or Battle of the Zolote Pocket (the former seems like the better option due to WP:COMMONNAME.

Merge proposal[edit]

I propose merging Battle of Toshkivka to Battle of Donbas (2022). The substance of this article consists of no more than a few sentences which would be better suited in the context of the larger article, understood as one segment of a much larger effort. It is also worth mentioning that nearly two years since the beginning of this alleged battle, the term "Battle of Toshkivka" does not appear in reliable sources, suggesting that fighting in Toshkivka is not considered particularly notable combat in and of itself.
