Saint Gregory the Great's comment, "non angli, sed angeli," in Bede's Ecclesiastical History[edit]

Saint Gregory the Great's comment, in Bede's Ecclesiastical History, should be translated as

"Not Angles, but Angels." The Latin reads "Non anguli, sed angeli." Please confirm. ' —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.181.220.187 (talk) 19:00, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Bede Grammar School, Sunderland[edit]

Articles Alan Brien, Albert Snell, James Bolam and Marcus Lipton mention this school. And I am pulling together a biog of a person who attended this school. See also [1] I see comments on the web say it was renamed to Bede Comprehensive later on.[2] And that it is now part of City of Sunderland College.[3][4] John Vandenberg (chat) 11:33, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
